CRYPTOCURRENCIES UNDER A MAURITIUS PAYMENT SERVICES PROVIDER COMPANY LICENSE
The processing of cryptocurrencies is not explicitly permitted, but also not ruled out. We recommend to use the Mauritius License to process standard payments and hold the wallets and funds, whilst another external offshore company, e.g. in Vanuatu or Belize is operating the cryptocurrency platform. Simply outsource this activity to satisfy the regulator. Any incoming and outgoing payment to buy, e.g. Bitcoin can be processed via the standard license, but the crypto wallets we recommend to hold externally with another provider under your full control. This enables, in addition, immense tax reductions, since you can invoice the external third party for tech support, administration support, platform hosting etc.
